I bought this direct from Scrapyard and it came about a dull as a butter knife, so I sharpened it. It's been sharpened with a Lansky and also with a ceramic rod, which means there are some fine sharpening marks visible on the blade. It's never been used, but the sharpening and the fine scratches mean I can't in good conscience call it new. I can say that I've never used it for anything and that it's been covered in a protective layer of Johnson's paste wax so it's not rusty nor has it been stressed in any way. Included is an ugly but highly functional homemade waxed leather pouch sheath.
