Tried the layout the other way, looked odd. I’ll have to resign myself that these 4 will never be battle knives.

Beautiful! And I agree, the layout looks most natural as is. Great choice of blade for it too, the sweep of the blade gives the appearance of our unfurled Flag billowing in a breeze.
