Got a scratch on the black blade powder coat of my cherished Duane Dwyer. Any fixes? Sorry if already answered somewhere else on the site, but my search did not find it. Thanks in advance. PS I know it's normal wear-n-tear, but would like it to look kinda new again...

Color it in with a Sharpie?

If the underlying steel is not stainless, a long hot vinegar bath will impart a dark blackish patina.

I'm picturing this in my mind...
brush some black enamel paint into the scratch then carefully wipe off the excess. You might practice on something else first, maybe grab a piece of plastic out of the trash, put a scratch in it, and try it on that.
