Scratch this off as a source of M1918 trench knives

Plowshare Forge - what I received was a knife with a poorly ground asymmetrical blade and a handle that is pitted, scarred and looks like someone's first time out with a power grinder. $200 down the drain - don't make my mistake. I'd be better off with an Indian copy, as at least it kinda looks the part. I'll try to get some pics up as what I got would make you laugh, but it sure as hell made me cry.

Even the Colt reproduction/re-issue (they were one of the original manufacturers) costs less than $200.00 and comes with a nice display case.
 
Thanks for this. I remember looking at their site and thinking the products looked iffy, especially for the prices.
 
Years ago, more than 10, he made really nice knives. Then his work went to %^$*. He evidently decided not to quit at the top of his game.
