Scratched Bolsters

I bought a Buck 110 on ebay that the seller forgot to mention had his name engraved into the bolster. I used 600 grit followed by 1000 grit then followed with 0000 scotchbrite and a felt wheel on a Dremel. Tried rouge, rubbing compound and scratch and swirl remover but can't get the right look. Any suggestions?

Get mothers mag polish and a polishing wheel the one with the cotton flaps, and get some brasso and polish then use the brass polish.

Use Simichrome on a soft rag, and hand polish it. The small wheel of the Dremel will not let you get a consistent finish.
