Screw - please help find

Have you tried Fastenal? they usualy have any type screw, bolt, or nut that you can think of.

Those would be Chain ring bolts like you see used on a bike, and the maker knives picture would be www.americankami.com. aka DJ Urbanovsky.

Why don't you email him....I mean those shots are from his website right?

By the way, just a thought, don't mean to steal this thread ... but those chain ring bolts look a lot like the pivots that Strider uses on their SMF folder?

Strider has those pivots custom made for Strider knives, they are based on this concept but built for knives in mind and not bicycles.

I sent DJ a pm to let him know someone was asking about the hardware he is using, I think one of the knife supply house's do them in stock.

The down side unless you had a good source is the cost and the size

DJ makes a very solid knife and he is a really good guy:thumbup:

I used to have huge bags of them when I made titanium chainrings. We got them from a Tawanese manufacturer and got chainring spacers from a US company called Wheels Manufacturing. The technical name for them is sex bolts!
