I heard somewhere that screw together 110’s exist. Like the classic 110’s, not the LT’s, but the classic ones with the bolsters and everything. I haven’t been able to find any though. Could someone point me in the right direction?

BCCI version. 110 was released and now the 112. they were a club member knife. who knows we may see more.

Yes, I sent SK knives a email recently and Stephen replied that this model knife should be released in the 2nd half of this year.. So, July to
October time frame.? If this model comes out with a drop point blade I'm in. I hope it comes out with micarta or some type of decent user handles. The BCCI model was a dress knife and I almost purchased one just to have the handle frame. Then give it a make over to how I
wanted. It had a lot going for it. Perhaps the SK knife will have a up-grade steel. DM

View attachment 1124614 Did you get the BCCI model? It will hold any 110 blade you can get your hands on including the old Selectors. The Charcoal G-10 handle slabs are quite up to hard use. Since the 110’s don’t have an open back, the BCCI model lends itself to dislodging fish guts. The weight is 125gm or 4.4oz. I don’t know what the future parameters will be, but if you can grab an original, it’s money in the bank.

looking forward to this one myself......

I'm hoping the aluminum frame will be hardened and have some grippy handles. Then a decent blade. Still, it all comes down to marketing.
What's the demand and what can they be sold for? DM

That Aluminum frame appears to be die cast. I don’t think it can be hardened. The G-10 handles can be roughed up. Better blades should made an option.

This is a SK knives offering, a 110 (ole Blue) weighing on a certified digital scale. .444 lb. = 7.10 ounces. DM

So, this 110 is a little lighter than the screwed together frame, BCCI offering. The aluminum frame may make it into the 6 3/4 oz. range. DM

The aluminum frame is actually machined from 6061 T6 on these.

That is good to know. It doesn’t bode well for lower prices, but the stronger material will yield a longer lasting knife.

Old Blue is 0.2oz lighter than the brass and wood model. The BCCI knife is 2.9 oz lighter than the brass and wood model. The BCCI knife weighs 4.4oz.

Thanks for giving us the scoop. I was wondering that myself. Now my question is, are the bolsters and frame all one piece. (Stupid question I'm sure but just curious)
