I reached out to Rob at snaggletooth he told me send him the knife and he'll take care of it. Seems like a nice guy. He also told me he would not charge me for installation. So I figured it would be best if I did it this way rather than screwed a knife up. It's not very often you find customer service like this anymore.

I've removed a few , heating either stud with a lighter for about 10 seconds and using pliers or vice grips will get the job done , especially if you can have someone hold the knife for you. I like using pieces of inner tubes for grip. easy job really.
I had my wife hold it down .I found a driver that fit. I dug in my tools and found the best fit. it came right off. So now I'm excited to get the snaggle tooth. I got lucky with the stud. Installing should be a breeze I'm happy now . Now if I could get the post office to deliver it real quick I'd be even happier. Thanks for all the input gentlemen. I really doubted myself that I would be able to get that thumb stud off. But success Hallelujah I got the anodized aluminum one it's going on a Voyager XL tanto
