Screwdrivers for knives

I had wiha, then got a set of wera. I like the wera better. Google "KC tool" they will have what you need. They are the best for precision tools.

Can't go wrong with Wiha or Wera torx drivers.

I use both screwdrivers and L-keys depending on the task. I got all of mine online from KC Tools.

Anyone know of a good hex screwdriver set? Recently got a Hoback Kwaiback and he uses hex bolts it looks like

Same answer.

Wiha and Wera make excellent precision tools in all configurations - torx, hex, torque, slot, phillips, ...

Good post. I've been mulling this over for a while now. Read the reviews on the Wiha and saw some complaints from recent reviews (2016) of the bits twisting and being made of soft metal. Some even complained of Wiha "farming out" their production of these bits. Now it is the internet so you never know what to believe. Anyone use Craftsmen Torx drivers? Saw this kit comes with T5, T6, T7, T8 & T9 but not T10.

Craftsmen has lifetime warranty; walk into any Sears and exchange broken or damaged Craftsmen tool. These any good, obviously would also need a T10?

FWIW, I really dislike Craftsman, and hate the parent company with every fiber of my being. I actively go out of my way to steer people away from Sears.

But, I use Craftsman drivers, and they work just fine. From my experience with these, unless you can get a higher end equivalent for the same price, there's no need for anything nicer.

Thx.

I've enjoyed this Wiha and it's done well with a variety of Spydercos, Kershaws, Ontario Knives, and CRKT. It's not too much stuff that will clutter your work space. Rather, it's nice, compact, and has everything you generally need. I picked up a larger Husky brand set for the odd type which comes up now and then.

Also, do yourselves a favor and pick up a small magnetic bowl for screws and hardware. It's definitely saved me aggravation of trying to hunt down screws and what not which have ran away.
