Screws instead of pins

I'm the proud winner of this neat little knife kit on ebay:

Looks simple enough that even I might be able to assemble it...

I'd like to put it together with screws of some sort, instead of pins. The idea is to be able to disassemble it when I want, and to readjust the tension to keep it all snug. I'm imagining something like tiny Chicago screws, but I haven't found any of the appropriate size. The knifemaking supply websites I've visited have a wonderful selection of fasteners but nothing that seems to match what I'm looking for. Besides, I'm barely qualified to operate a screw driver, much less a grinder or a rivet hammer.

What's the sort of fastener I need?

You would need to go with a pivot barrel in a 1/8" diameter that includes screws like those sold from Jantz supply with a 2-56 screw on each end and you would have to buy a carbide drill bit like one of the ones for order number TD608 from Jantz supply in a 1/8" to redrill every hole in every part of the kit knife to assemble it.

From the looks of it you'd have to redrill the blade as well. It can all be done with the same drill bit though unless you fracture it trying to make it bite off more than it can chew. You run carbides at high speed by the way.

They work best with a drill press.
