Nails for scoring things or digging/loosening rocky earth when you don't want to use the tip of your knife.

They are also great for cleaning brown bullheads (catfish). Drive the nail right through its head into a fish board (not your good one of course). Slit the skin behind the gills around the entire fish. Use your leatherman pliars and pull the skin off the body over the tail!
 
I like to use nails to put up lights. On my last venture I packed one of those cheap dorcey 4 AA lanterns (great light for the price $2.99) and put it high up on a tree using a nail and it illuminated my camp area great.
