A few years ago I saw a pic of a scrimshaw'd Sebenza, and it became my grail. Of course, as grails go, it had already been bought and hasn't shown up since, so I started keeping my eye out for a nice ivory sebenza that I could get done myself. Unfortunately, those are also very rare, and CRK told me they weren't making them any more, so when I saw a very nice ivory Mnandi on the exchange I picked it up. I sent it to Ron Luebke, the guy who had done the Sebenza, along with an assortment of photos that I thought would look good. And yes, since it's scrimshaw, it has to be a naked girl, that's just one of those rules.
Anyway, a few days ago I received the finished product.

And since some people are always curious, the Mnandi set me back $600, the scrimshaw was another $400. And I'm done buy knives for the year.
Worth it.
