i am looking to start making some knives on the cheap. i am cutting some blades out of flat disk blades from an old plow. I have access to some old farm junk and would like ideas on other sources of usable steel
Thanks, Rmfcasey
Raymond Richards is the king of farm steel knives, but I think he would say:
Disk harrow
Hay rake tines
Cultivator tines
John Deere PTO shafts (5160)
Buggy springs
old wrought iron rims ( for guards)
