Sculpting with David Broadwell?

I have it as well, but didn't get much out of it. I love Mr. Broadwell's work and the insight I was hoping to gain from the DVD wasn't there.

I watched it a few years back and found it to be quite good.

Just having the opportunity to watch David create some of his masterpieces was worth the rental fee. I always pick up a little something from every instructional DVD/Vid I watch.

After watching the DVD/video I struck up a friendship with Mr.Broadwell via Custom Knives & Guns Forum.
Like so many other Bladesmiths I've been lucky enough to speak with, David was extremely forthcoming with the little tricks, techniques, and assembly methods he uses to create his works.
No secrets at the Broadwell Forge :)

FWIW, I take knifemaking very seriously. Since I support my family making knives I never turn down the opportunity to learn something new ;) :D

I would recommend watching it. Even if you get a single tip/technique from vid it will be worth your time and money. YMMV :)

Thanks for the feedback guys. I will probably wait then since play money is kind of tight right now.
