SEAL Pup steel question

Howdy!
Just bought my first SOG knife; a SEAL pup. I was wondering what steel it is made of? It is an older model, I am guessing, as it came with the kydex sheath with the belt clip, not the current issue one.

I'm pretty certain it's made of aus 6.

BTW, The current sheath is made of kydex
