Search is not working

By the way, there are 784 users with "man" as part of their names, from 10mmman to zman_11, so I can't just guess who you might mean....

Oops :footinmou That was supposed to me 'Hateman' not simply, man.

I just tried the search, for both names and they worked!

I tried several times yesterday and neither returned any hits. Odd....

Thanks anyway Cougar.

That's the problem, sometimes it works and sometimes, for some people, it doesn't! We're not just ignoring the problem, guys, we are taking you seriously, but what can we do??? I personally haven't had anything go wrong searching for ... over a year, I guess. If it would go wrong for me at least I would be able to tell Spark the exact circumstances....

I've been having this problem for about a week since I registered. On the advanced search I type in "Benchmade 690" and search in "All Open Forums." After a few seconds I get this message: "Could not open the page. Could not open the page “http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/search.php” because Safari could not load any data for this location."

I am running Safari on my PowerBook.

Now I just tried running the exact same search with Internet Explorer. This is the message I get: "Error. The attempt to load 'Accessing URL: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/search.php' failed."

Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

I just ran a search on "Bill Segal" under keyword and the search crashed.

I also did a search for 'Bill Siegle', and it crashed.

However, when I removed 'Bill' from the search, it gave me all of Bill's recent posts.

I have found that you need to use one word when using the 'keyword' search. if you want to use multiple words, you need to use the 'advanced search'.

When using the search function in this manner, I have not had any problems.
