Search not finding threads that should be found.

I was trying to re-research Schrade's use of a hallmark. When searching the Schrade Collectors forum "hallmark", "hallmarks", "hall mark" "hall marks" all miss the thread I wanted. That is, If I search the exactly correct title, I still get no result.

I want this thread to be discoverable (and maybe many more that aren't showing up?). https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/hall-marks.808081/

I know I can use google to search bladeforums but that shouldn't really be necessary.

I also noticed a problem with Search today. It may be unrelated to the OP's Search problem, since the trouble I noticed only affected recent posts, while the "hallmarks thread" referenced above is not recent by any stretch of the imagination.

Here are the details of my trouble with Search. In the traditional knives subforum, I often search the thread "What 'Traditional Knives' are you totin' today?" for posts by me (to make sure I'm not repeating myself). The Search Results always give me a list of my posts in that thread ordered from most recent to oldest. Today I tried that (at a couple of different times) and the most recent post listed is one I posted Friday at 10:37am. But I know I've posted at least twice (Saturday at 7:58pm and Sunday at 9:39am) since Friday morning.

This has happened at least once in the past (I don't know exactly when, but could maybe find out by searching this subforum for posts by me). Search seems to "set a limit" and only search prior to that time limit. At least, that's how it appears to me.

Update: No change.
Search isn't returning any results more recent than Friday (approximately).
Can anyone confirm this "glitch"?

Yep. No content showing in my content searches before last Friday.

edit: I meant since last Friday.

I have no " Your Content" showing after last Friday at 11:07 a.m.

same here. searching for keywords in two of my fs posts and neither are showing up in search results. also cannot see them under my profile "your content". they only show up when i scroll through the list in each forum.
 
Can any moderators or staffers make suggestions here?? The forums keep growing, our posts are getting pushed further and further back AND our listings aren't being seen when someone searches for a make or model. Obviously effecting everyone that's posting FS posts since Friday. I'm not sure about the area's other than FS.

Looks like the search software got an update that I'm going to have to install. Hope to have it done by COB today

Still not showing anything posted after Friday. Can we re-post before two weeks is up because of this??

I get the rules, no reposts for two weeks. My problem is the keyword search for Medford or any other brand shows nothing past Friday (2/10). I know Spark Spark worked on the problem and I absolutely appreciate that but it still isn’t corrected.
 
Turns out there's an issue with the search index being locked and we're going to have to resolve it by doing some back end stuff
 
I just noticed that too, and came here to find out what's up. It's probably gone coz Spark Spark 's working on it. Funny both the Search and Latest Posts (lightning bolt) Icons are gone on my laptop, but the lightning bolt is still there on my phone. Go figure....
