Search not finding threads that should be found.

Just went to Postings on my Profile Page and nothing shows there after last Friday either, but I believe that's a search function as well. My more recent posts do show up at the Activity tab, though.
 
is it me or the search icon is completely gone or it has been moved somewhere else?

The answer lies at the end of the thread 2 posts down from yours in the Tech Support sub forum.

Spark Spark Just noticed this yesterday, the search feature in the upper right hand is no longer showing up. The lightning bolt is also gone.

The lightning bolt was gone, but it's there this morning...and appears to be working properly

Thanks, at least that explains the search button, I’m still missing the lightning bolt though.
 
For me, the lightning bolt is there in portrait view, but not in landscape view...very odd.
 
I'm having problems as well. The lightning bolt is there but when I try to see my content it says I don't have permission to see it. They'll get it fixed I guess
 
It is still missing on Desktop. I noticed something had changed around my username and notifications yesterday. Didn't realize what until I went to search for something this morning. I am just new enough on this forum where I was like "I know there's a search... I thought it was here... maybe not where'd that go?"

Just checked again. Nothing posted between Friday and Wednesday is showing in searches...
I posted in FS, one in folder and one in auto on Monday. When I search, they are not found. They are also not showing in "your content" on my profile.

As previously stated, the search index is rebuilding. New posts should be showing up almost immediately. Older posts will take a bit as the index rebuilds.

I did a simple test search Sat. AM, and the problem with recent posts not showing up seemed to be fixed.

The thread that I mentioned in the original post is now discoverable using search. Search seems to be functioning as it should. Thanks for fixing this.
