Hit up the JK Knives forum and talk to John. He will make a knife to those specs and he can make it in 154cm, 440c, or s30v
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
Also am I allowed to say this without a knifemaker/craftsman/service provider membership?
Cool! I hadnt seen that one. It would make a great paring knife and meets a lot of my specs. But i want a bit more substantial blade. I know, picky picky picky. An after thought, what about the LTW Bandit? AEBL steel, flat grind. Not a drop point though.
email me john.gruber at the google mail and I will send you a link as I don't if the store is a paid sponsor here or notCool! I hadnt seen that one. It would make a great paring knife and meets a lot of my specs. But i want a bit more substantial blade. I know, picky picky picky.
The LT Wright Patriot in AEB-L is close but I cannot find one with wood handles....

Patriot is a good knife but smaller. Comfortable 3.5 finger grip, something to watch. I do think that LTW may have a slightly bigger model similar to it, do not know the name. Battlehorse has other options too but don't know of it comes in stainless. Last thought, the smaller Northern Hunter in AEBL, like a Canadian belt knife and there are wooden handles available at some of the online stores.
whynot consider an often overlooked fixed blade from buck? even the 113 (fixed version of the 112 ranger) is amazing with options to get fancy if you want in the custom shop
but the base model is like $70 and often goes on sale for 50ish

Yes. And no. I have one of those and have it around my neck right now. I love it but the blade is a little short, the handle is thin for prolonged work (I have used it to whittle a spoon), and the spine is not sharpened. I have considered sharpening the spine and calling it good....Benchmade hidden canyon hunter .....
Oh, sorry, that's why I asked. Should I delete the post?Advertising knives you've made does fall under the perks that only a Knifemaker membership allows, you can't actively display or promote your own creations without the proper membership.
