Here is another 4-blade that certainly resembles your Standard Trooper, Duncan!! The etch reads;
Craftsman (underlined), over Stay-Sharp, over Chrome plated!!View attachment 2885670View attachment 2885672

The Tang is stamped, "High Carbon Steel" over "U.S.A." !!!

I just spent a minute looking at Charlies post above ^ Man...what a Knife! That one would have coined liners on the Spine Charlie?

Knife below:
I looked at this knife for quite some time, I do have others like it, and I am sure ( I need to check ) that I have a couple of really nice tidy ones, but this one here caught my eye, simply because it has been used and the Patina looks like one of those old guys who have had their shirt off their whole life in the Greek islands - you know what I mean, the Patina just makes this knife look tough!
Steel Liners, Steel Bolsters used and patina'd up, all this with each blade and the punch as full as the day it was made - all together really attracted me to the knife, I tried to talk myself out of buying but gave in at the end, and I am not sorry I did.
Forged U.S.A tang stamp for Sears with Ulsters later punch without the nail nick, the Bone being just awesome just adds sauce to the chips.

I really like this beast, I'm hoping you do too 🤩
