Sears pocket knives

I have a few... they are all Schrade/Frontier produced ~ all 80T size stockman patterns. Unfortunately, I can't speak for all others :)

I just came across an old Craftsman slipjoint and through some investigation here on the forum, found that Schrade (as Heath mentioned) made them which were sold in Sears catalogs. Mine is a bit older than the 70's/80's, though...

Camillus, Schrade, and Ulster. Those Schrades and Ulsters were made in the same Ellensville, NY plant after the Schrade plant in Walden burned down in the late '50s.

I had a Craftsman lockback (clearly a rebranded Buck) in the 80's.

I also bought an actual Buck 119 fixed blade and a couple Victorinox SAK's from Sears but that was in the early 90's.

Somewhere I know I have an Old Crafty 9547 (Sears version of the Old Timer 8OT) still in it's box.there was one white saw-cut delrin 4" stockman they made I acquired somw years back.It wasn't the 1927-1977 Craftsman anniversary knife. It just had the Sears logo on the handle and Sears on the tang. Also on the tang surprisingly it was stamped 'Carbon Steel'.I thought that was kind of neat and unusual where 'Stainless' is actually indicated but not carbon steel.
