As of the end of today's game, we are at 9 wins, 2 losses...

The game today, against the NY Giants, was one of the most stressful football games I've watched in my 51 years. The game went into overtime, and the Giants had 2 chances to win, but missed field goals both times..

(deep sigh...) I almost wish good ol' Bobbles was here to gloat and get bashed. Ah, the good ol BFC days.;)

Don't gloat too much, Dann; it is inevitible that they will choke sometime during their remaining games.

Don't get me wrong; I'm a huge fan. I'm just tired of being optimistic, and watching them take a dump when it really counts.

If they don't make it beyond their first playoff game this year, someone needs to escort Holmgren to the plank.

It was a great game!

BUT...with the TONS of penalties NY made and with the missed "winning" field goals, things would have been quite different if they'd hadn't done themselves in.

In other words, I'm not sure we (the Seahawks) won the game...rather, NY lost the game.

Regardless, we did very well and it was quite exciting.

...and at the end of the day, all that matters is what's in the W/L columns.

THAT was a great game!!! The Giants screwed the pooch several times!! I was so happy to see the Seahawks wins!!

I worked on the athletic training staff at THE University of Alabama in the mid-late 90's when shaun alexander was there. What a great guy. He was a yes sir/no-sir kind of guy, very respectful, and very active in our FCA. He also had an abundance of confidence....he told me at his first practice in '95 that he would win the Heisman his senior year. He came up a little short, but I have been a 'Hawks fan ever since they drafted him.

Posting this'll probably be the kiss of death, but...

My Beloved Colts Rule!!

Signed,

Long Suffering Fan
:D

Don't mind me, I'm sitting in a corner chanting "We won the Superbowl in 2001" over and over again about my Ravens :(.

I remember the last person that gloated about the Seacrows. :D

I am so holding my breath on this one - WE CAN DO IT! Superbowl here we come!

Silenthunter - I feel your pain - I moved here to Washington from Maryland in 2004 - I never could quite get into the Ravens though. I'm still a Redskins fan at heart but I lovin' the Seahawks this year!

Seahawks VS: Colts, in the Superbowl, with the 'Hawks winning by 3...I can at-least dream, can't I?.:D.

Congrats. They're a good team with potential. Once in the playoffs, anything can happen. Home team advantage helps.

The Seahawks have truly been amazing! I wasn't able to watch Saturday's game, but keep up on the score on my cell phone. They certainly have momentum! I'm looking forward to the playoffs...win or lose.

While a win is a win, the Colts definitely didn't bring their "A" game to Qwest Field. As far as NFC teams making the playoffs, they probably have the best chance of making it to the Super Bowl.

I'm sure next week @ Lambeau will be a rout for the Packers, who have been in free-fall all season.
