Seattle Seahawks

At the start of EVERY single year they say that this is the year for the Seahawks and they are never that good, That would be bad enough no matter what team it is but this gets really old because I live in the midwest and the Seahawks are like what 1500 miles away and then to top it off not only do they allways make a big deal about them (Trent Dillfer and Ricky Watters are really going to carry them this year, wait that Hasselbeck is really looking good and how about Alexander, wait we are knocked out so we will just repeat what we said last year again and again and again) and then to top it off they talk about how they never get any respect and no one pays them any attention and it's like you don't deserve any respect and talk till you actual do something and you still get a ton.
=========================================================
I do give them credit thought they helped give us one of the most memerable moments in the last 5 years in the NFL

"We want the ball and we are going to score"

Jan. 1, 2006

Damn...The (2-14) Green Bay Packers spanked the (13-3) Seattle Seahawks today, breaking their 11 game winning-streak.:(.

Unfortunately, I only caught the last nine minutes. I was crushed to see the score. In those final minutes, the commentator said that Seattle had played a conservative/safe game in order to put them in the best position for the playoffs. Since I didn't really watch the game, I can't say for sure. But if that's true, with a sure trip to the playoffs, that would have been a good call.

In fact, I'm almost sure that is what Seattle and Holmgren were doing. My dad believes that Holmgren didn't want any of his guys hurt, and as long as Alexander gained the rushing TD record and the rushing title, didn't care what happened in the rest of the game.

And hey, for us Cheeseheads, it wasn't a great game but also not horrible for what could turn out to be be Farve's last game.

Hey, maybe Holmgren wanted to take it easy on Farve too. :cool:

Edit: I'm rooting for the Seahawks to go over the rest of the NFC in the playoffs to the Superbowl.:thumbup: (It's better than the Bears!)
