Seb owner looked at me cross eyed for no clip.

I EDC a small Classic. Within 5 minutes of opening the package, after purchase, I had removed both the clip and the lanyard. They've been off ever since. I carry it loose in my pocket. No clip or sheath of any type. I like that it's small and light in my pocket. I can't see the sense in doing anything that would add weight or bulk to it. I don't carry anything else in that pocket. So, all of it's scratches come from either my wedding ring, or when I drop it on the concrete (which has been happening a lot lately :o). I do plan on eventually getting an insert for the hole where clip would normally sit.

Yeah, I've been trying all different configurations and it seems that no clip is the only way for me. I have been using the little slip case but think I am gonna try a Vess sheath.

Only turn off to the sheath is if a cop sees it when I am walking.

I have to wear slacks in a corporate environment everyday, so a knife clipped to my pocket isn't very appropriate. That's why I always buy pants that have a secondary smaller pocket inside the main pocket, towards the bottom where it holds my sebbie upright.

I've tried using the clip on my sebbie, but I don't like the way it feels when you grip it, and I also don't like how it doesn't lie flat when you set it on a table.

It was designed for function, hence the name "work"; so what ever works best is how it should be carried!

Sort of a different context but same essence... I have in the past cut off the knife strap/snap if it is in a snug kydex sheath. I test it by turning it upside down and violently jerk shake it until it finally pops out. If it takes a few good jerk shakes, I do away with the strap for quicker access taking it out and smoother insertion. I wouldn't have the straps to clumsily deal with using BOTH hands, and I would have to visually move my head to point my eyes down and pay attention to what BOTH my hands are doing, rather than simply ride the back of the blade up my sheath and slip it in one handedly while I my eyes are still down range. Almost like a samurai :p

This way I can pay attention to other things I am doing... like seeing how cool I look with the knife on my belt through a reflection from a store front window :D

I think I am gonna just drop it in my pocket. I just hate lint forcing me to clean it so often.
