While cleaning my sebs tonight I took notice to the stamp on the tang and found it rather unusual . Both my 21's from September 08 and my classic from 06 all have a "C" stamp , and I have never heard of that... All are s30v, any help would be great :)

Yea, s is for S30v. I don't know what the stamp is they used (if any) for BG 42 or ATS 34.

Maybe it's something they tried for a short time marking the quarter it was made in like on the scale.

We need a CRK veteran for help

I believe the C refers to the "classic" blade shape whereas S refers to the "standard" blade shape. At least I recall reading this in the past. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I don't believe it has anything to do with the classic vs 21 seb, but rather a different blade design. I know that my small classic seb has an S stamp on the blade.

Thanks for the help ! I guess since they were early 21's they were still using left over classic blades !!!

I've handled a small micarta 21 that had a C on the blade and I was a little confused as well. I guess we are in the same boat. I feel like if it were to be a blade swap the blade would not be perfectly fit in the closed position, but it is, which is why I was not too alarmed about the C on the blade tang.

I had take my new large Sebenza apart, the blade have S on one side and V on another side of the blade, Its than mean S35V blade??
