Seb21 with the Nuked treatment..

Dude that is the UGLIEST knife I have EVER seen. Why did you do that?!?!

JK! You know I'm Jealous bro! I'll be sending my 25 to Randy for something similar.

Nuked my 25 a few hours after I got it :D

I'm almost sure the warranty is voided after this treatment, as with most things once you modify them you're responsible. That being said I'v been carrying Chris Reeve Knives for around a decade and have never had one fail. :)

Here is a video showing how I keep them "factory functional."

Totally fabulous. Great pictures on the original post. I can just see an archeologist stumbling upon a "nuked" Sebenza as he digs up ancient 5,000 yr old artifacts and thinks "hmmmm". :D

Looks totally wicked though and can't wait to see a "nuked" Damascus Seb.

I don't like it.... just not my thing. But if you like it, that's all that really matters. Now get out there and use it.

For me, I think it gives it a good "used" look. I do like it but almost would prefer that to happen naturally with use.

I've still been babying my sebenza (it's my first and I've only had it for a week, so it is sort of ok) a little more than I'd normally admit. I feel like I should take it and work the hell out of it and see how close to that I can get naturally.

I'm sorry to double post, but I've spent half the evening that I was suppose to be focusing on working thinking about having my sebenza nuked. That nuked 25 with the blade still the same looks so awesome I'm not sure I can wait for that patina to come about naturally! What exactly does a voided warranty mean in this case? Like I can't get them to fit another blade to it if mine breaks? Or just that nothing would ever be fixed for free? That is too cool to not at least consider!

That would take out the "break in time" for me! I tend to baby knives until they get a couple of scratches and then all bets are off. It looks great!
