Sebenza 21 screws are coming loose?

I've owned two Sebenzas. The first one was glass smooth no matter how hard I tightened it down, and it never got loose on it's own. My second one behaves much like the others in this thread. If I tightened it down fully, it's too hard to open, if I put them down snug, but not fully tightened, the pivot screw comes loose.
 
My wife told me that I had a loose screw on my last order of a lg Sebenza. :confused:
