Quick question for you Sebenza fans:

Given the choice, would you prefer (and pay the difference in price for) Double Thumb Studs on the Sebenza 21 models?

I've nailed down my next purchase as a Large 21 Micarta Insingo, but I'm debating on whether or not the Double Thumb stud option is necessary and/or worth the difference in price.

Thanks in advance for the input!

*EDIT: I decided to make this a poll!

If it isn't too much more, I would get the double, just for the sake of symmetry. But it isn't necessarily something I NEED.

I chose double because I'm left handed and use both hands to open knives with. Plus, I prefer the looks of double lugs.

I had a double installed on my old carbon firber large 21. Never once used the secondary stud. Just sold that knife and miss it terribly. Moral of the story....dont sell your crks single or double studs. Haha.

I think that this is the big thing with me. I'm OCD, so while single works fine, it doesn't look as "complete" as the double.

Double silver thumb studs for me everyday, all day. I'm just not a fan of a single thumb stud on any knife. I realise a single stud is pure function, but where's the harm in a little form now and then ? :p

I have both, singles and doubles... I prefer silver double. Clean, classy, symetrical look.

The single lugs work fine of course, but if given the choice I always go for doubles. To me, it really completes the package and adds symmetry:)

I never saw the point of double studs.....until I owned one. Not a deal breaker, but I prefer the double stud. It lets me open it left handed if needed (I'm a righty); plus I like the look. I am planning on sending in two of my knives to have double studs installed....

I quite like the double thumb studs. Being able to open your knife easily with either hand is a good thing. I think opening a RH Sebenza with double legs with the LH is just as easy

I have never owned a double lug 21, it's on my list tho. In fact it will be my next knife hopefully.

Single, silver, the wc small I own seems to catch on the meaty portion of pointer finger with the double

Personally, I like the single stud. I just really dig the little machining detail on the back that you do not get on the doubles. Call me crazy, but I consider the single stud, with the fancy 3D back (not the flat kind), an upgrade. If I thought they would do it, I would consider sending my 25 in for a single stud........!

Only one I've ever had is a double stud. I think I'm going to buy myself another one next month and I'll try to get a double stud.
