Sebenza 21? Would you repurchase???

Yes, I would buy again, and again, and again....
Maybe I'm not the proper person to ask.
Live is about solving problems, once you find a solution you try it again and again.
Maybe that's why.

I had the opportunity this weekend to handle a regular large Sebenza and a model 21 Sebenza back to back and I would without a doubt buy a another model 21.

It is a no brainer for me.

Yep I don't regret any CRK's, they have been nothing but superb. Buy one on the secondary market, have it refurbed and use the sh*# out of it. You can thank me later:D

I've always used and appreciated knives. When I joined blade forums I was prepared to spend $150 on a super duper folding knife. It was before YouTube & websites with even half way decent pics.
Basically it was "The Sebenza is the best and here's why:" ...and that was it. There was one "comparable" (</=) knife & it was the Benchmade Pinnacle. I went to a shop (WholeEarthProvisionCompany, Austin, TX) & looked at one and it was no better quality than any of the other less expensive BM, Spyderco & Kershaw knives there. I thought, MAN, if I'm actually considering this "Sebenza" I could just buy any of the knives in this case, have an awesome knife RIGHT NOW, spend less, and be happy.

I called CRK to see if there were any Dealers in my area. They gave me the name of a man who traveled gun shows & was a dealer. I called him and he said he would be at a Gun Show the coming weekend! Balls! I did not have the moola to buy it that soon! I went to the show with some buddies. I brought a pistol to sell JUST in case I really really reeeeeeally liked this "Sebenza." The quality absolutely blew me away. I quickly sold the pistol & bought the knife! Actually when the dealer peered I to my wallet, he said "Son I can't leave you with no gas money." He had already made the ticket out w/ tax & whatnot. The total was $330. He said "Gimme 3 (hundred)."

In all this time there was a period of around 8mos I've been Sebenzaless. I decided that folders were folders and fixed blades were a better "high end" knife buy. I sold all my knives except for a Swamp Rat FB & a Spyderco Military. It was certainly adequate but I often felt over or under knifed. The Sebenza is an excellent go between.

I would DEFINITELY recommend buying a 21! It is every bit of knife that anyone who uses a knife "smarter not harder" should ever need.

I just purchased a used (practically new) Large 21 from another member this past weekend. It should arrive this week. If it's anything like the Large Classic I've carried for 5 years, I'd happily buy another. It will be my first S35V knife, but I've never had issues with S30V so I'm sure it will be fine.

Technically, this used 21 I just bought is my second 21 as I have a Large Insingo. It's never cut anything so I don't really count it. The build quality on the Insingo however is up there with any of my older CRK Sebbies.

I have had my plain Jane small Sebenza for several months now, and if I somehow lost it, I would immediately replace it with another Plain Jane. It is a joy to use, but adding a second one is not something I would plan on doing. It took me a long time and much research to conclude that this particular knife was exactly what I wanted and that I would put it to good use. It has exceeded my expectations.

.... now I will be buying my first Mnandi next year, but it will address a different "itch."

That dealer was a fine example of a human being.

I did repurchase my 21. 4 or 5 times.

If I lost one, Id just carry a different one. :D

My large 21 came with a great edge and I love it. I have had trouble getting it out of my pocket for the past few months.

I would get one in a minute for $300. Does he have another one?? :D
