For one reason or another, and sometimes no reason at all, these just aren't getting the attention they deserve, so off they go.
To avoid confusion and possible hard feelings, the first to post an unconditional "I'll take ____" in this thread gets the item.
Since one mans "modifications" are sometimes another mans "what the hell did you do to it?" there may be a little wiggle room in some of these prices, but I have tried to price them fairly. Don't bother sending outrageous low-ball offers though, I will not reply and they could land you on my ignore list, depending on the ridiculousness.
Paypal preferred, all fees included in price. CONUS shipping only, unless arrangements are made by email prior to final sale.
By purchasing any item, the buyer agrees that they are of legal age to own and purchase knives, and are in full compliance with applicable laws regarding shipment of knives to their location.
I reserve the right to refuse sale at my discretion, without explanation.
Possible trades: rodent solution, guardian 3, 3v fixed blades, large 21 Insingo, spyderco Roc, good quality small folders (3-3.5")
I'm sure there's others I had in mind, I'll add them when I remember
--------------------
My apologies for crappy pics below, I'm in a bit of a rush
The knives:
Spyderco PPT - lightly carried and used, never sharpened and has never seen real work. Could pass for new except I gently rounded the horribly spiky tip of the pocket clip a bit. comes with box, etc.
Sold
Midtech G&G Hawk MUDD - lightly carried and used, but you'd be hard-pressed to tell. CTS-XHP steel, perfectly smooth and solid in every way. Original edge and still sharp. In my opinion this is basically a custom knife for a very reasonable price, made entirely in-house by the Hawks (as far as I can tell, and by talking to Gavin). I won't cry if this doesn't sell, but I overstepped my knife budget a bit lately and if I can get back nearly what I have into it I'm afraid it'll have to go. Didn't come with box or anything else.
Sold
Sebenza 25 - lightly carried and used. It has the regular snail-trails on the handle these get after carrying them for 5 minutes. What an impressive and heavy-duty knife! Just a bit big for my taste, I'm too used to my small sebenzas. Also, one night, after a few (too many) frosty beverages, I decided I didn't like the way the base of the edge caught my thumb when I closed it sometimes and took a dremel to it. See pics below for more details. I did ding the handle a little bit, but not too bad really (I just kind of "polished" it mainly) both on the top of handle and inside of index-finger divot (presentation side only), and lost roughly 1/4" of edge right at the base of the blade, but now it has a functional quasi-choil. Box, DOB card, and accessories included, although I'm sure I used some/most of the CRK grease.
If you want a 25 you won't be afraid to use, and can live without a small bit of the edge, you can save well over $100 off retail here.
( I'm aware there's a CRK sales section, but I don't have time to make that many sales threads at the moment. I'll move it there in a few days if needed)
$old
Spyderco Slysz Bowie - very lightly used and carried, never sharpened. Glass smooth and a pretty cool knife. Could pass for new except for the following note. I tried to bend the god-awful clip on this one, just so I could get it out of my pocket. I love the wire clips, but they're absolutely horrible on this knife, imo. After repeated bendings just trying to get it right, the set screw for the clip no longer holds it down. I don't know if the clip is just too mangled now, or if the very end threads of the screw may have been stripped, but purchase this knife assuming you migh need to order a new clip, or possibly screw, or possibly both. Or who knows, maybe it'll work perfect the moment I sell it. There are also some light rub marks on the handle from the clip. clip screw threads fine without the clip, so if you don't plan on using the clip you have a near minty knife besides light rubs. See pics. ships with box and bent-up clip
traded
Boker Anso 67 Limited Edition - #66/199 carried once or twice, no scratches or flaws that I can detect. After a quick trip to the Boker spa, this one has a semi-late lockup (maybe 80% of the way across the tang, depending on how you open it), but it has lost the lock-rock these sometimes suffered from. With fancy stock boker box
$OLD

Here you see my 25 vs. stock. The colors are fine, and so is the blade, it just looks slightly off in the pics and the scale isn't perfect. You can see how the stock blade starts roughly directly below the thumbstud

Here are the dings. Fairly minor really
