Sebenza 25 - The Be All End All Knife aka "The One"

I sure do love to see a knife like this that really gets used on a daily basis. It makes all of my knives a little jealous.

Yes, it sure looks like our friend Steel_Addiction is getting his money's worth out of his 25 and using it just as Chris Reeve intended it to be used!!
All the best, Dave

Even though this is an older post I couldn't agree more. I bought a Sebenza 25 and that is it. I'm now going through most of knives knives getting ready for an Ebay sale as this one will do. Well said.

Thanks mrbear!! Yea this is a great thread!! I wish I had stumbled upon it sooner (before I started mine) it really explains the differences between the first run 25's and the later runs. And it has fantastic pictures!!

Yes great post indeed with tons of helpful information and nice pics.

Thanks for resurrecting the post Dave...:D

Take Care

Great post and pics!

The 25 is an awesome knife. If I had bought mine before all my other knives, I may not have bought any more. I love that thing.

I know people talk very highly about Striders, and I've never held one, or a Hinderer, but I cannot imagine a knife being more solid that the 25. Mine has no play anywhere, and just like another posted, with the pivot pin out it still has no play.

That's somewhat amazing, at least to me. I feel very fortunate to have one.

I must agree with you jmclfrsh, I have owned three of the four different models from Strider (never had the Sj75) and both the XM-24 and XM18. The Striders were disappointing because of the lack of quality control.. the XM models were nice but just not my cup of tea (collector not a user) and they both obviously have there loyal customers and fan base just as CRK does especially the XM's. But for me and I am sure many will disagree (hey that rimes) it is best summed up with this phrase borrowed from a fellow member. Its not just a knife, It's a Chris Reeve Knife...
And yes I have drank the Kool-Aid.. and I like it! :D
All the best, Dave
