Sebenza 31 vs 21 What say you?

Its about a 9 month wait. But you don't send it in until they're ready, so most of the wait time you still have your knife.

That’s better than before, honestly. I sent a 21 in years ago for a blade replace and it took months to get it back, which I was totally ok with since they made that clear before I sent it. Being able to keep it is way better though.

I may have to seek out another 21 just to get a new MC blade 🤔

The hand fitting of bushings and the ability to crank it down and get the same action is the same on the 21 and 31. They didn't swap that out.

You're right, I was probably thinking of the inkosi. Good to hear they kept that!

Checked out a few new 31s in person the other day. One of the small sebbies actually had gritty action to it. For $550 or so, I sat that thing right back down. The large 31 was fine at least. Still had me worried about buying one online. I might wait for a deal on an Inkosi or Zaan.

After skimming this thread, I don t see a mention of my only Sebenza, the 25. I got it the first year they came out from the CRK table at Blade. I admired it for a while and then put it away with the other expensive knives in my "collection". Too expensive for me to use ($400+ 12 or 14 years ago!). When seeing this thread I just got it out and looked at it for the first time in years. Wonder why it stopped being made. Apparently the hollow/flat grind blade innovation didn't t go over well.

I think it was adapted into the inkosi, I may be mistaken.

I have a 25 and a couple Inkozis, and the only difference I can see is, on the Inkozis they angled the clip so it isn't resting on the frame lock.
