Titanium clip that was suggested to me in other thread. I don't know if this company is a member, so I know I can't link. But I don't even know if we can just mention a companies name that may or may not be a member?

Either way, PM me if you are interested in a deep carry clip and I'll tell you where I bought it.
Came fast in two days from PA.

One of the large Sebenzas I bought came with a custom clip that did not hold my pocket material well and the knife rode too high in my pocket for my tastes.

I ordered them in black for all 3 of my Sebenzas but I put an order in for 3 plain (which look to be silver) as I think silver will look classier and I'll return the black ones. It seems to hold very well in the pocket. Check out my pics of it old vs new as to the height of the carry. I use deep carry on all my BM's but they give you deep carry clips for free in black or silver, if you just call and ask them.

* The pic of the clip on the back of the knife the scales looks crooked. They are not crooked, they are on there perfect

I use the same clip in the 1st picture but in silver on 3 of my 4 knives. For me just a better clip. Great company to work with.

Thanks for that comment. Ya, Im sending back the black ones for 3 more silvers. Very reponsive company to my emails and she even called me on my cell when I got my 2 clip sizes mixes up. clip came in two days. I gave a large seb. 21 to my son so he might want to keep that custom Damascus clip for his as he said he wears his shirts out over his waistband anyway. I originally ordered black for being less noticeable. But if Im in a crowded place, I'll drop it deep into my pocket anyway. Your silver is classier looking than a black one. Nice springing gripping power on these clips too. The custom Damascus clip came on my plain jane from the seller. It is very straight and not much gripping power on the pocket material.

The only thing I would have liked to see offered of the 4 colors they list, is one that is sand blasted grey (if thats what the grey is called) which would match the lock bar handle of a 21.

Do you know if the company that we bought these from is a member here?
If they are not, I know I can't link to their site, but can we at least give out the name?
What section do they list here like the online discount companies. I thought there was heading for vendor members, but I dont "readily" see it (I'll look again)?

Thx. I PM'd Bhyde this morning and he pointed me to it. Kinda buried in a sub forums, thats why I couldn't locate it. I don't want to link to a site in a post thats not a member or it will just be deleted.

BTW in re-reading your clip tests this AM out of the 5 clips you tested, I just noticed the MXG clip was the only "deep carry" clip. For my needs in an office environment, I wanted to try out the MXG because I need to carry deeper. Too bad MXG doesn't make the OEM sand blasted grey color, but my 21 has polished faces so the silver Im getting should look classier than just black even though the clip sits on the grey lock bar. I have BM silver deep carry clips on my 5 BM's and they look and workout great.

I’ve always wanted a deep-carry clip for my Sebenza 21 Large. However, I’ve struggled to find one I like. I’ll look into the one you purchased. Thanks for sharing!

MXG gear. I just cant post a link. for an all Titanium clip its sweet. Im returning the black. I'll post pics of the silver in a day or two when they get here. Great company to do business with. I suggested to them to join here as a sponsor member.

New silver replacement deep carry clip came today. Its actually called plain, but its like a silverish grey that matches the seb 21 scales. That line under the end of the clip is from the custom Milit Damascus clip that came on the knife. Oh well, its an EDC and marks add a little character . . . like the grains in fine leather ;)

Looks alot better . But I removed deep carry from the radar a few years ago.

They stick out too far and mess with my grip most of the time. Any thoughts on that.

Is it basically a compromise between carry and grip?

I say affirmative

I have trouble with the clip screws sticking up so much in this style of deep carry. If you clip to any kind of thicker pocket material (jeans/khakis), it tends to hang and bunch up. If you wear dress pants all the time, I guess it works ok.

The pronounced ramp also causes a hot spot on my medium sized hands. I think that's why the Lynch clips tend to sell out whenever they get in stock and the MXG style tend to always be available.

Am I missing something? Lynch clip?

Ya, no hotspots from the clip. When my small seb comes back next week I have a DC clip for that one too. But I remember in a Shabazz youtube review he was not a fan of the small seb 21 because it had hotspots in his smaller hands. But he did changed his tune when he reviewed a large 21. I'll see once I get it back and install the new clip if it feels the same. I only had it in my hands for a day. For for the price MXG Gear definitely makes a nice quality titanium clip though. Nice rounded edges all around.

Casey Lynch/Lynch Northwest. One of the most sought after deep carry clips but I think they're just for Spyderco knives or those using the 3 screw pattern. They've gotten hard to find lately because he's mostly moved on to his own line of prybar multi tools. I always felt the Lynch clip nailed the perfect entry ramp angle for this style of clip.

But you know, all this talk about pocket clips has got me thinking. There's still something classy, sexy and elegant about a knife with no clip at all. You just slide it into a supple leather sheath and it lives invisibly in your custom tailored suit pants.

That's a power knife!

Anyway, just a random thought about clips on knives and such.

You will want to remove all references to price on your posts. It's OK to mention the brand,..but it's still not OK to mention the price of that piece. It's not really any different than linking to said item.
