Sebenza - EDC Carry Pocket Location

I carry my large regular clipped in my right front pocket. Plenty of room left to get my hand in and cell phone out. That's one of the things I really like about the large, it's a lot of blade in a small package.

I have the CRK sheath that fits the small and large version. It's set up to carry both horizontal or vertical. I've used it a couple of times but I think a visable sheath draws more attention than a clip showing outside a pocket.

It's sorta funny to me when people ask about the large being too big to carry, and this is not a slam on you Kenny, it's just that most of the folders I carry on a regular basis have at least a 4.0" blade so the handle length is at least 5.0". To me the large sebenza is the smallest knife I would carry!:):):)

I usually carry it clipless in a pouch in the right pocket of my suit/dress work pants at the office.

If your coin pocket doesn't offer enough length, cut the bottom out of it to allow for more travel.

I carry my small Seb loose in my front pocket with the clip removed (I hate clips). I sewed the front pocket of my jeans together in one spot to keep the Seb standing upright, rather than laying sideways across the bottom of my pocket. This setup seems to be working well for me.

I like the IWB carry for two reasons:
1. It does not get hung up on seat belts and caught on arms of chairs
2. It is not obvious to people you are carrying a knife
3. Easier on the clip over time.
I have had seat belts catch on the clip and pull the Sebenza out of my pocket. I carried a Large regular for years but have now switched to a Small Classic and love it!

When I'm wearing jeans I usually carry a small sebenza in the little watch pocket on the right front. The small Sebenza usually it clipped in at a bit of an angle in the watch pocket since is a little long to be virticle in the watch pocket.

With slacks I usually carry in the waist band (under the belt) on the right front.

My primary method of transportation is a motorcycle and I tend to be very concerned with losing things from my pockets while riding. If it falls out of the pocket, its not under the seat, its GONE! I try to keep everything zipped up in my riding jacket or a tank bag but of course sometimes I forget.

So...I've lost everything from cigarettes to cell phones from my pockets. I have to say though, whenever I forget and leave the Sebenza clipped in my right front pocket it's there when I kill the engine. I'm probably just lucky so take it FWIW but it does seem to stay put. There was ONE time that after I put the stand down I realized that the sebbie was in my pocket and had backed out to the first bump on the clip but held steady right there. This is all in reference to a large regular, I can't speak for the other models.
