Sebenza/flashlight combo...?

The Fenix L1T is reasonably priced , LED, takes AA battery [alkaline,NiMH or Lithium ] .

Thank you for all your suggestions. Until a couple of days ago I had no idea you could spend so much on a flashlight. When I bought a 3D cell maglite waaay back, I figured "$30? Now this oughta be a good flashlight!".

So, I just picked up a Surefire Backup two days ago. I got totally fleeced and paid a mall retail price of $169. Still, it was exactly what I was looking for, and so far I just love it.

I've also since put in an order for a Fenix PD20, which I can't wait to get. Waaaaaaaay cheaper, and perhaps a better light; we'll see I guess. One in the glovey, and one in my briefcase. Still, if it goes anything like my Sebenza purchasing does, I think this is just the start.

Thanks again for all your input.

It`s a great little light. I guess I was lucky that I bought mine in late august, before the prices went up. $169 is quite expensive! :o

The Fenix lights are great and there are a lot of bargains out there, I guess PM me or better yet do an internet search since I am not sure about forum rules. Yeah, I went from Maglite to Surefire to Fenix to custom lights such as Muyshondt and after that the sky is the limit. The big change, if you are new, is the switch to the new generation of LED's. It is indeed a reality changing innovation. It is possible to enjoy the change relatively cheaply (fenix, etc) or to spend your kids school money.

Beware...

My edc includes two knife-flashlight combos that I rotate among my other pocket litter.

CRK Large Classic Sebenza - Inova X5

Kershaw Spec Bump - Inova T1

The two flashlights match their knives perfectly, on terms of both color and style.

I just bought my 1st Sebenza and I think my Surefire A2 will match it nicely. Though the E1B is my EDC these days... Of course the Seb cost as much as my M6, so perhaps....hmm, need more pockets.
