Being in NYC sucks when you want to buy a knife. There are online stores that do ship to NYC. Ebay always works too... The more popular ones like Bladehq, knifeworks etc won't ship to NYC.
If possible I do know that Dicks Sporting Goods in Roosevelt Field Mall (Long Island) sells knives and firearms.
"Knifeworks" definitely does ship to N.Y.C.... and happily.
Just received today an Orange full size Doug Ritter Griptilian, and always with 3 day priority mail.
The week before... an Orange mini Rat II (from Knifeworks).
The week before that an Orange Spydie Dragonfly 2 (from Knifeworks).
All cheerfully, happily shipped to Manhattan from North Louisiana... in only three days.

Yea finding a good selection of Knives in NYC is gonna be a chore.
I live on Long Island but work in NYC(Queens & Brooklyn) and its great to see more Knife Knuts from the area.
Seems like I never come across any other Knife Enthusiasts around the area.
Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough lol.
But if you do find a spot even on LI, the prices are def gonna be jacked up.
