Sebenza Just In

I need a new knife to collect like I need a another psycho pregnant woman in my life!!!! 1 is good for now.....though some of those Graphics are REALLY nice.....must resist! And a Shadow I...now that is style. That was the First CR blade I ever handled at Blade this year. I liked the hollow handle and actually found a Robert Parrish HH knife before I found a Shadow I.

You'll love it.

If you think it's smooth now, wait till it gets broken in some.

Mine has been on my belt everyday since I got it back from Tom Mayo just before BLADE '03 or '04. It was one of the last he worked his magic on.

He put his own studs on it, more comfortable to me than factory, and the off stud is slightly smaller than the thumb stud. Out of the way, but still there if needed.

One thing though. The first or second day I had it, before going to Mayo, it snagged on the seat or seatbelt and was lying on the seat when I came bact to the truck. Once was enough. The clip came off and I got that very expensive (for it's size), piece that covers the clip hole.

While the knife was at Mayo's, MtMike made me a very nice belt sheath using his original Sebenza as a guide, for tip down carry.

To me, a pocket clip is a prequel to a lost knife story. Plus, I prefer tip down carry.

Just a thought.

BTW, it is the ONLY folder I own.

For S&G, if you have one, put a AD on top of the open Sebbie or visa versa and see if great minds think alike.

I`ve been carrying a Spyderco Police in my right front pocket of my jeans, using its clip, for about 12 years. As far as I can recall I`ve never lost it. I`ve been carrying a large Classic Sebenza in the same spot for about a year now, and it never came out accidentially. The Sebenza clip is pretty good/tight (better than the Spyderco clip)-even though it seems like there was a slight change in design sometime, and the newer (?) ones don`t seem to be as "tight" anymore. Two out of four clips that I own, aren`t as nice and tight as the other two......... .

Funny thing about the Sebbies, they may look plain next to all the current whiz-bang knives but they can do the same job, just without the "flash."

what are double knife studs? pics!

To clip or not to clip, tip up or tip down, it's all personal prefrence and no right or wrong set in stone.
