Sebenza Lock adjustment?

While this idea sounds pretty good, the blade would have to be slightly modified. As it is, the blade interface to the stop pin is curved, so that curved bit would have to be flattened out or reshaped.

Honestly, from my perspective, if the lock bar is almost touching the other side of the scale, then either the blade or the lock bar side scale has to be replaced. It seems that too much material was removed from either of these two components either by CRK or by the owner. I guess this could be caused by forcing the lock bar past its engineered stopping point causing a deformity of the lock bar side of the scale. This is unlikely given the properties of the Ti scale .

I recently took one of my sebs in to have the blade replaced as I didn't like the angle of the edge. I was told that it would take some time because of the frequency in which they make the serrated blades and I would receive a call when I could bring the Seb in for the transplant. Less than a week later, I had a new blade! The response from CRK is nothing short of spectacular! I am just sad that I live less than 5 miles from the CRK shop...restraint is difficult!

I bet that living that close is awsome! Will they let you tour the facilities? If you were to get back down there in the next couple days tell Mr. Reeve mine is on its way in for a little TLC! LOL! ,,,VWB.

It definitely has its advantages. Sometimes it can hinder my cash saving abilities. Especially since I have decided to get a degree and they don't give those away. I have toured their facility a couple of times. Truth be known, I used to work in the machine shop next door part time about 10 or so yrs ago. While I have met Chris and talked to him many times in my career in some of the local machine shops, I have not seen him at CRK anytime I have been there. Anne has always been willing to help in whatever I need! This is not to say Chris is never there...Just not there when I have been.
