Sebenza modifications

I'm just wondering how the fit between the blade, washer and new scale is when you guys replace the standard front scales with G10 etc??

How do you manage to keep the fine tolerances and not have blade

play?

It's a duplicate scale. Using the correct drill bits are key. I've never had a scale returned to me saying that the tolerances aren't tight.

Then again, I'm a luthier and a finish carpenter so I'm used to tight tolerances.

No big deal for me, I guess.
 
If the scale is flat on the inside (and it is by default) than it's as goood as Ti. I have ZERO blade play. The tollerances are in the blade/washers/pivot/bushing and not in scales as such. Scales just need to be FLAT :)
