Whether it be a sebenza or custom, you should see and touch a knife first to make sure it's what you want and fits you and your hand. Buy cheap knives sight unseen over the internet, but at some price point, you should not buy w/o seeing and feeling the product.
Do a search and you'll find that not everyone loves the sebenza as much as others. Some, such as myself, won't buy it for a variety of reasons. Some don't like the sebenza's looks, tip-up carry, thubmstud or handle ergonomics. However, that said, most do like it. Custom knives from any reliable maker will have as good or better workmanship than a sebenza. However, don't buy a knife unless you can see and hold the maker's product. There's an old saying that holds true for knives, "one man's meat is another's poison."
