Sebenza owners, do you edc them? And can I get it engraved?

My two week old regular large has no loose screw issues and I disassembled it last night. I think if you snug the screws enough it will stay together. Before buying it and reading about the loose screw problems I thought the screws threaded into the titanium and I was concerned about strippping out threads in the softer titanium, but now that I know they screw into the female steel inserts I am comfortable with tightening the screws more. Time will tell...

Yep, unless I'm on the water (just have no desire to give the ocean my sebbie) or doing major manual labor (thats only to keep my wood inserts nice looking as I want my edc to not be to marred)

I carry one or another of mine everyday and use them for any and everything I can. And I have always wanted to get one engraved, just havent figured out with what yet.

As far as the loose screws...I havent had this problem, but if I did I'd use a little locktite and that would probably take care of it.

Sebenzas aren't loctite friendly or I would have used some on mine from the beginning. If you loctite a Seb the opposing side will just rotate with the screw when you try to loosen it.

Don't let the loose screw worry you to much.
It's nothing that a little thread tape won't take care of. ;)

The screw came loose on mine a couple of years ago, and I added the tape, and have had no other issues.

It does not effect the functionality of the knife, all you need to do is unscrew, add tape, and rescrew.

Trust me, if you plan on using the crud out your Seb (or any knife for that matter) and the worst problem you will ever have can be remidied only by adding a little tape - then that's awesome.

I use it almost every day, have battonned my Seb, used it as a throwing knife, even used it to pound my prybaby through ice (long story :D ) - no problems, no blade play - just a few cahracter marks.

Sebs are tough as nails bro -

Nice. Awesome post. Thanks. I feel alot better about my purchase. I am dying in anticipation for it to arrive.

-Carry mine every day, a Large Regular.

I only got it a week or so ago, with the absolute intention to use it. I'm not a collector (though you wouldn't believe that if you saw how many knives I've bought! ;) )

The Seb came razor sharp and butter smooth. So far, I'm very happy with CRK.

Nice! haha And no issues?

Is taking it apart and cleaning it a necessary thing? Cause I am so not confident doing that.

No issues at all, and I will baton time to time. Cleaning it easy and while by no means a necessity (most knives have their warranty voided when disassembled), it is easy as pie and keeps the action super smooth.

Couldn't see the point in owning one if I wasn't going to carry it. My small regular is in my pocket every day and gets used with little regard for it's well being. It's got plenty of scratches but still works perfectly just like the day I bought it.

Actually caught the pocket clip on those stupid drink holders on the arm rest at the movie theatre a little while ago. When I got home I took of the clip, grabbed some pliers and bent it back into shape. It's working perfect again.

Thanks for all the help everyone. I really appreciate it. I can't wait for my Sebenza to get here!
