Is there anyone who makes or anywhere to buy a lowrider clip for a sebenza?
I checked with STR and he says he does not make them.

I third this. I bought a used Sebbie with an deep pocket clip made by the previous owner, and I'd gladly pay got a few more like that.

Any pics?

Here you go...

I can't see the pics right now because of my hajji-net connection, so I'm posting all 3 that the previous owner posted when he sold it to me.

For as many years as the Sebenza has been around I'm amazed that there isn't a deep carry clip made by Chris. At the least one on the after market... market.

Sell em for $35.00 a piece and we would all line up. (Well not all, some of the kermudgins around here would poo-poo the aesthetics or something)

That's a nice low rider clip - does the clip fit into the recess in the handle just like the orig clip does? Looks like something I'd order for my insingo.

Yes, it does. If someone made and sold them I'd order at least 3 more for the Sebbies I carry most.

I'm working on a low rider clip for an Umnumzaan as we speak, I should have it finished over the weekend. I can state right now that they are a PITA to make. This is the second CRK low rider clip I've made and I am only doing it again because it's for a good friend and he is paying handsomely for it. :p:thumbup:

Has Chris Reeves ever said why he doesn't/won't make a deep pocket carry clip?

For those of you who may be interested, this is the deep pocket clip for the Umnumzaan I just finished, it actually still needs cleaned up a bit and blasted but this is it pretty much finished. I think it looks good in satin next to the pivot and spacer screw, but blasting it will look much better no doubt. It will also make the clip less obvious when in the pocket too. :)

Though I prefer the regular clip ( not the topic of this thread, so I will not go further with it ), this low rider deep pocket clip by HAZE looks great. Good Work !!!

Could you be talked into making a few more? I'd gladly pay you for them.

I'm not keen to agree to any more just now, I have my hands rather full with an up coming knife show and one or two other commitments. I also don't have a knifemaker membership so I shouldn't be selling my stuff on the forum any way. It's not fair to those that do pay to sell their stuff here.

The problem with these clips is that on the face of it they just look like a bent bit of Ti sheet with a couple of holes in them.....but there is a reason people don't want to make them. There is actually quite a lot of fitting to be done on the back side. One has to file a step and thin out the back side of the bend to get the clip to sit in the recess for the original clip. It sounds like no big deal, but really it's quite a lot of work to do when you think about it as it's just a pocket clip I spent a couple of hours hand fitting to the knife. That doesn't include the shaping and hand finishing either.....:p:thumbup:

If you should ever change your mind and upgrade your membership to start making/selling them, please include me for a couple.
