Sebenza promlem with the lockbar

What type of lube was on the pivot. the lube I saw in one of your pictures looked kinda paste like, Is it possible your lube is not correct. I would also take a loop and look at the ball for the detent and see if somehow it could have developed a (micro) flat spot. That sound in your clip almost reminds me of a gauling sound also why I asked about the lube.

Ya know I went back and turned up the Volume listened to the opening and closing, boy, it sure sounds like the lube is gritty almost like anti-seize is being used, did you buy this from someone? could they have taken it apart? put the wrong lube in, How does the washer look?

:foot: I don't normally have any problems with sanding everything. I guess the tolerances they have make it impossible.

I have polished washers on many a bali, all of my Benchmades, and plenty of others. The washers on the seb are I guess perfectly mated, to give that dead center everytime lock up. I polished a bit off of the washers on mine making them mirror shiny so I could have been the issue.....

Any news on this?

I am interested to know how or if it has been fixed

Cheers
Frank
