sebenza question

Hello John,
I think I'm staying on topic here, but just in case I'm not, mods...please feel free to move with my apologies. I'm currious of your perspective on both the seb and the strider products. I wish I could see several shots of say the sng and the large seb togeter...I have no luck in putting my hands on any models of either manu. I'd like to see images with the two knives comparing thickness of the blades and thickness of the knives in general. I have seen many face shots of the sng from front and back, but no top down or bottom up. I'm wondering how I would like the look and feel of the g10 and ti sides of the sng...I'd be very interested in boths sides being ti. Anyway, you have both, and I am very interested in hearing your thoughts.

thanks again,
Randy

Randy,
I'll be glad to help you out as best I can. I will email you privately some comparison shots of the two together. I am a very loyal fan of both companies, and couldn't or wouldn't choose between the two. I think one model may be better suited than the other for specific jobs. It just depends on your needs and perspectives. If you can only see yourself getting one or the other, try really hard to experience them both first hand.
Email inbound sometime today or tomorrow.

of course you could try both on the passaround forum, provided you're not in a hurry.

Dave,
Do you have a link to the Sebenza passaround? The only one I've found was from last year and appears to have been closed. I want to get a large Sebenza to compliment my small one, but I'd definitely like to try it out first if I could. Thanks.

John,
I can't thank you enough, I sincerely appreciate your time.
DaveH,
Great idea. Hadn't thought of that. I am truely hoping that the Dixie Classic Gun and Knife show coming to Richmond, VA this May might have some of both, but I'm not holding my breath. Patience is a virtue for sure, but man do I want a new blade.

Thanks to all for their responses,

Randy

Randy,
Email me your email address so I can email you the photos via email, ok. :D

I want to thank all who replied. John, I received your mails and I sincerely appreciate the time you took to take the pics. I've got them saved and have been giving them study often. Now it's down to finding the best place to make my purchase.

No problem Randy, that's why I participate in these forums. I like to help folks out if I can. Just pay it forward someday. :D Good luck with your decision, and if you need more photos or have other questions, don't hesitate to email me.
