Sebenza question.

So I finally got engaged to my beautiful girlfriend of 5 years, and since I spent 7000 dollars on her 1 carat diamond ring she is going to buy me a sebenza. I want the large plain sebenza 21, and I wanted to know if the regular plain Jane sebenzas came with the blue thumb stud? I really like the look of the plain handle with that nice blue color.

So, does the plain large seb come with the blue thumb stud? Thanks!

But in truth, the truly glamorous large Seb has a silver stud

The truly worn in large Seb has a stud which is just still a bit blue on one side :D :D

Congrats on your engagement. You can order your Sebenza however you like it. Plain Jane Seb comes with a single blue thumbstuds, blue spacer, and blue lanyard pin. Enjoy your new Sebenza.
 
Congrats man. One thing though. You spend $7k and she spends $385? Come on man get her to get you 2.
 
Actually, you should tell her that you're more interested in a Scott Cook Lochsa!
 
I'd talk her into a limited edition or a unique graphic.
at least a custom engraving with the engagement date or something lol.

You should contact Liss Sterling Photography for your wedding photography. She's a top notch wedding photographer, in your area (roughly).

And "yes" on the blue thumb stud Q. Here's one of my plain 21's:

If it was Damascus I would never use it because it's so nice. I want this knife to be in my pocket every day for the rest of my life so I just want a plain sebbie with 2 blue thumbstuds and the leather pouch.


It's going to be like my "engagement knife" that I keep on me forever, if that makes sense.

I would second the idea of having your engagement date engraved on the handle. That would really make it special for you. Great idea JFN! :thumbup:

I think that's a good call. I went through the same question when I bought mine, the inlayed handles are really, really nice. I would still like one. But since I was getting only one, and might want to carry it eventually, I opted for the plain. I still can't carry it, none of my outings these days are worthy. If I got one of the really fancy ones, I would NEVER use it. It's kind of like basic black for the first garment in a wardrobe. Never goes out of style. I love my Large 21 Sebenza, it defies description. It's very nearly perfect (for some I reason I didn't get a leather pouch with mine). I'll definitely be happy with just this one Sebenza for the rest of my life (famous last words).
