  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Sebenza usage

Like everybody else has said... I use mine for whatever needs "knife attention" when I'm carrying it. I only carry one knife at a time, so whatever I have in my pocket has to do the job whether I'm in the warehouse, the woods, or the backyard garden. 98% of the time, what's in my pocket is my small micarta 21 and it's never failed to do whatever was needed.

I agree, the small CRs are enough. Don't understand why the large are more desirable.

I have used my Sebenzas quite heavily. I have used them for food prep, cutting tons of cardboard, whittling, scoring shingles ( from the backside ), cutting tar paper.....etc. And after all that, only a couple swipes on the sharpmaker brought it back to its hair popping edge. Use It...! The Best Folder Of All Time !!!

I agree the small is enough, but having the extra length, thicker ti handles, and larger handle for a "little" bit more money is completely worth it for me.
I like the presence of the large 21 over the small. For that off the wall task, I'd rather be that much more prepared with a slightly longer blade.

Becaue the large is more usefull than the small being a larger knife that can handle more tasks. I personally rate the Mnandi over the smal Sebenza any way. I really only ever carried my small Sebenza when I was using it for about the house or town sort of stuff that I now carry a Mnandi for, and even then I tend to carry a large or Umnumzaan any way. When out hiking or camping etc. the small Sebenza has limited abilities next to the large and is just not as usefull.

I don't want a brand new knife again ! It took me years to get it into the state it's in now. :p:thumbup:

I agree, if I ever had an issue and I had to send one in, I would request the issue is addressed and nothing more. :)

Ditto. I don't want mine sharpened or tumbled or nothing. I even like the scratches I did on the pivot using snap ring pliers.

It's my main edc. I don't pry doors open with it, but anything that needs cutting. The insingo gets used
