Sebenzas with dual lugs- I have no use for them

I can't tell you how many Sebenzas I have turned down on the exchange because of dual lugs. I just won't buy them. I am right handed and have no use for dual lugs. If I am going to spend the high dollar I don't want something unusable for me.

Is there anyone else that feels the same or am I all alone in this opinion?

Double lugs are great, makes the knife look complete to me imo.

I also greatly prefer the look of double thumb lugs. I think it's more advantageous to be able to open your EDC knife with either hand :)

I'll go as far as sending mine in to get double silver lugs with hardware.

I don't like the dual thumb lugs myself but they aren't a deal breaker for me. The 25 and inkosi only come with the dual lugs

Blasphemy I say! LOL I have several knives that I am going to ship to CRK to have double lugs installed (actually picked up the shipping boxes from the USPS Friday). Double lugs do come in handy, especially when you are forced to use your off-hand to open a knife.

Exactly.

Not sure why you say that dual lugs makes it unusable for you. I can understand not liking the look but the knife should still function ok. Actually better IMHO. ;)

And as mentioned, it does make it easier to open with the off hand should the need arise.

It's just better imo, makes it easier right handed as well, thumb on top or underneath middle finger nail flick.

I originally was a huge fan of double lugs, but have decided I actually like the single better. While they look nice and symmetrical, they do not serve a useful purpose to me. Double lugs can catch when you are pulling the knife out( this is not so much with the Sebenza as other knives I own), and this has made me appreciate the single lug concept.
Not even close to a deal breaker

I have done this as well, double silver all the way for me.

Single thumb studs have never looked right to me on any knife, a single stud takes the symmetry and lines of the knife right off kilter IMO. I have only 1 Regular with a single stud and I can't change it to a double because it's a BG42 so CRK won't touch it....being a gift it should probably stay as is anyway. :)

Double lugs for my users and single for seldom carried sebenzas... [emoji16]

Can't imagine someone spending time worrying about this, one way or the other. shrug

I just boxed up 9 CRK tonight and of those, 4 are going back just to get double silver lugs installed. To me they just don't look right without them. Once these get back I will have several more going back just to get double silvers. I just couldn't stand the thought of losing more than 9 if something were to happen to the package.

Never gave it much thought really. I must say that after some careful consideration, I like my 25s with the double lugs and I pretty much prefer the single lug on my 21.

All of mine have double Lug's ( but I had 2 of them sent back to have them done ) because I just plain like the way they
look so symmetrical and a 100% better than just one.!** With one they look so lopsided and out of sync with the looks
of the knife being heavy on one side.!^^ { only my opinion and that is my side of this and my side only.* } TYVM

This is how mine usually end up. I send my users in for the double lug treatment, but it's pretty safe to say neither of my River Of Fire's, or my Decorated Numbered's will ever get that done to them.
