Sebenzas with dual lugs- I have no use for them

I feel the same way about 1911's having dual safety on each side. I don't buy them either. I don't shoot left handed. Sure I know in a situation, I might get my right hand blown off. But with a knife having dual lugs is even more unnecessary.

Just give me right side thumbstubs please. Duals are a deal breaker for me. Makes me feel like I bought a left handed knife or a knife I might want to sell to a lefty.

Like the symmetry/usefulness of duals, but will buy based on other considerations...;-)

Being left handed in a right handed world, the double lugs serve a purpose for me. Many of my CRK's are right handed. Over the years, I've become ambidextrous when it comes to knives.
A single lug CRK has been a deal breaker for me at times.

Its good to have double dual lugs but on sebbys I do agree those lugs do get in the way when cutting. Lugs on Umnumzaan though is perfect as it is located near to the scales.

I would never use the right stud. I do think they look better with 2 studs tho. I have 3 large CRK's with dual studs.

Single stud guy here. For me, a second lug simply won't ever get used. If I wasn't going to use the pocket clip, I'd remove that too regardless of whether I had that little filler tab or not.

I also prefer the single stud, but as a lefty a double stud can be convenient in a right handed configuration

Can't imagine someone spending time worrying about this, one way or the other. shrug

Ditto.

My 25 is double lug and does not bother me the least.
Now that I look at my 21s, they look uneven, but not enough to bother me at all.

I think they improve the look, but as a right hander I don't really feel I need them myself.
But if I saw the same knives(with and without) that I wanted I would choose the double lug, even if the cost was a bit more.

Those of us who are ambi, and those of us who have had injuries that disabled our usual hand for a time, really appreciate double lugs and similar arrangements.

I don't care a lot either way, but I do prefer that if the knife has double lugs it was made for them- I like the cut out on he lock side for access.

Single stud for me.
- More than once, a knife opened on me as I was pulling it out, because of the "other" stud hanging up on my pants. Not cool!

And besides, if money is an issue, sebenza probably isn't the knife for you.

It is not about money or how many bells and whistles a knife has. Sebenzas fame is built around simple and useful perfection. That is the allure. The fact that most people are right handed (myself included) and that I want something that fits me and my
my person. Anything more is a turnoff and devalues the knife in my usefulness.

Another aspect I like about the single is I'd have a lot better chance of pressing it out and back in if I ever felt the need to.

CRK with a wave feature. I will have to see if I can do it consistently with the 25!
