SECKS and the best wife ever! (longish)

The SECKS show was enjoyable for many different reasons. Old friends to see and visit, and the new friends made. My thanks to Jerry Hossom for the time spent talking tactical knives and knifemaking in general. Mike Snody, for sharing his focus, intensity and savy buss sense with me. The Jones Brothers with their great blades, Tom Anderson with the cleanest, slickest folders you can imagine. Terrill Hoffman with his wit, photographic skills and great customer service. Special gratitudes to Scott Douglas and Knife Doc for their kind words, and who were willing to invest in me, a relative newcomer in the knifemaking field.

Regards,

David Dempsey

David,

The pleasure was certainly mine.

As I mentioned I promised myself that I would visit every table at the show before spending any money. I fulfilled that promise and beat feet back to your table because I did not see a better combination of Design, Fit and Finish for the price.

"(1)Mike Snody Overlord, this knife was my reason for coming to the show to pick up and I wasn't disapointed! "

TW-Knife You skank! I hope that you wiped my drool off of that knife. As hard as I tried I could not get Michelle to sell it to me, she said it was sold but it was on the table :(

Hey ShaneB,

I wanted to leave the knife with Mike for a bit to show off his work but when I came back by Mike was hitting it with some oil so I guess he was getting the drool off :D

I would tell you how swweeettt the knife is to own..... but why rub it in! ;)

TW- I lost out at that show and I am envious that you took the Overlord home. Go ahead and rub it in. I saw another post and I don't feel so depressed anymore! OVERLORD HYBRID :p
