A few days ago I posted a knife from a forging demonstration I did at the Tryon Arts and Crafts studio. This is another that one that I forged there and just got around to putting on a handle. OJDPS is a what a blacksmith at the forge called 5160 steel "Old John Deere power shaft" although this steel came from the mill.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Flat grind sanded to 600 grit
Hammer marks on the choil area
Curly maple handle stabilized in my shop
Overall length: 6 3/4 inches
Blade: 3 1/4 inches

$90 ----sold----delivered to the US or Canada. My PayPal account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com Checks with time to clear and USPS money orders also accepted.

Wow! That is my kind of knife, but this one just was not meant to be in my collection or in my hand! Keep 'em comin', Gerry! I like everything about that little beauty!

Got the knife.. It is a beauty and there will be a couple of deer to take care of in the next month or so.
